Nowadays more and more trailers are equipped with the ABS, but few drivers know how to use it. ABS is an improved braking device based on standard braking system. Its working principle is like this.
1) Control the rotate speeding sensors of wheel and the speeding sensors fitted on the trailers by computer;
2) In the emergency braking situation, the computer will dictate the pressure adjuster to decrease the pressure of brake boosters, in order to make the wheel recover working.
In fact, the working principle of ABS is the recycle progress of locking-loosing-locking-loosing, so as to make the trailer stay in the situation of temporary locking, and prevent the trailer from running deflected, side-sliding, and uncontrollable state when braking.
It is very important to use the ABS accurately when driving. The right way is to keep enough braking distance. The distance has to be kept at least 3 second braking time back to the front trailer in the situation of good road, and longer distance for bad road.
